Abstract

U ovom radu su prikazani klinički značajniji zloćudni tumori kod pasa, te je prikazana pasminska predispozicija za određene tumore, njihova etiologija, klinička slika, dijagnostika i mogućnosti liječenja. Prikazana je osnovna razlika između benignih i malignih tumora, kao i klasifikacija prema histogenetskoj osnovi. Ukratko je opisana građa tumora, proces nastajanja tumorskih bolesti, kao posljedica unutarnjih genetskih i vanjskih okolišnih čimbenika, ali i molekularna osnova tumorskih bolesti. Opisano je na koje sve načine tumori mogu metastazirati i kako taj proces utječe na organizam. Zatim je opisan paraneoplastični sindrom, te koje sve simptome tumor može izazvati. Kod dijagnostike i liječenja svakog pojedinog tumora, detaljnije su objašnjene samo osnovne metode i zahvati koji se primjenjuju u kliničkoj veterinarskoj praksi.

Abstract (english)

In this diploma essay are presented malignant and clinically significant tumors in dogs and breed predisposition for certain tumors, their etiology, clinical image, diagnostics and treatment options. The basic difference between benign and malignant tumors is shown, as well as a histogenetic classification. It contains brief descriptions of the tumor structure, the process of the formation of tumor diseases as a consequence of internal genetic and external environmental factors, as well as the molecular basis of tumor diseases. It is described in which ways tumors can be metastasized and how this process affects the organism. Then it describes paraneoplastic syndrome and all the symptoms tumors can cause. In the diagnosis and treatment of each tumor, only basic methods and procedures that are applied in clinical veterinary practice are explained in more detail.
