Abstract

Cilj ovoga rada je utvrditi uzroke teških teljenja u krava i junica. Najveći broj teških teljenja izazvan je fetopelvičnom disproporcijom, a nakon toga slijede nepravilni položaji ploda, atonija maternice, torzija maternice, nedovoljno otvoren cerviks, emfizematozni plodovi, blizanačka gravidnost i suhi porođajni kanal. Od metoda pomoći najviše se koristi repozicija nepravilnih položaja ploda, a nakon toga carski rez. Sa stajališta veterinarske medicine cilj pomoći veterinara pri teškim teljenjima je očuvanje života i zdravlja rodilje, očuvanje njene reprodukcijske sposobnosti te porađanje žive i za život sposobne teladi. Govedarstvo je grana stočarstva kojom se osiguravaju velike količine animalnih namirnica neophodnih u prehrani ljudi te svaki smrtni ishod rodilje i ploda te gubitak daljnje reprodukcijske sposobnosti nakon teških teljenja predstavlja ekonomsku štetu i smanjenu dobit.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this study was to determine the causes of difficult calving in cows and heifers. Most severe calvings are caused by fetopelvic disproportion followed by faulty disposition of the fetus, uterine atony, uterine torsion, insufficiently open cervix, emphysematous fetuses, twin pregnancy, and dry birth canal. The most common method of help is the reposition of irregular fetal positions, followed by a cesarean section. From the veterinary medicine point of view, the goal of helping veterinarians in difficult calving is to preserve the life and health of the mother, to preserve her reproductive abilities and to give birth to live and viable calves. Cattle breeding is a branch of animal husbandry that provides large amounts of animal food neccesary for human consumption, which every death of the mother and fetus and the loss of further reproductive abilities after difficult calving represents economic damage and reduced profits.
