Abstract

U ovom preglednom diplomskom radu opisana je termoterapija u rehabilitaciji pasa.
U radu je ukratko opisan pojam topline te određene fizikalne zakonitosti vezane za samu toplinu. Nadalje, definiran je pojam termoterapije te njena podjela na termoterapiju u užem smislu riječi i krioterapiju koja se bavi djelovanjem hladnoće na organizam.
Prikazani su ukratko i fizikalni principi termoterapije.
Osim pojma i fizikalnih principa termoterapije u radu su prezentirani oblici i metode kojima se koristimo u termoterapiji.
Predstavljene su površinske termoterapijske metode kao što su oblozi, hidroterapija i infracrveno zračenje, te dubinske metode termoterapije. Kod dubinskih termoterapijskih metoda najznačajniji je ultrazvuk.
U posljednjem dijelu diplomskog rada navedene su određene indikacije te kontraindikacije kod provođenje termoterapijskih djelovanja.

Abstract (english)

The final thesis describes the application of thermotherapy in the rehabilitation of dogs.
The thesis gives a brief description of heat and certain laws of physics that apply directly to it.
Furthermore, it defines the term thermotherapy, how it is devided in the narrow sence of the word and defines cryotherapy and how cold temperatures affect the body.
The physical principles of thermotherapy are also describet.
In addition to the term and physical principles that are describet, the thesis provides examples of different forms and methods which are used in the application of thermotherapy such as wraps, hydrotherapy, infrared radiation and in depth thermotherapy methods, most notably the use of ultrasound.
The last part of the thesis is about different indications and contraindications that come as a result of thermotherapy.
