Abstract (english) | In one criminal case, veterinary expertise was conducted to determine whether the dog of the Pekinezer breed died from injuries described in the factual part of the indictment at the place where he was shot or could have moved and to what distance. Among other things, it was necessary to take a stand on the conducted ballistic expertise and the allegations made by ballistics experts concerning the characteristics of the dog and the way injuries were sustained. A prerequisite for carrying out this type of expertise is a complete inspection at the site of the event and possible results of the search resulting therefrom. For unknown reasons, there was no complete inspection or no understanding or X-ray of the carcass. In order to emphasize the importance for the complete investigation of the suspected killing of firearms in this graduate paper, the topics of weapons and ammunition, external, internal and terminal ballistics, gunshot wounds, conduct of all stages of the inspection, i.e. the procedures at the scene of the event, were dealt with and I am an act of understanding in the suspicion of the killing of firearms. Based on the results of expertise, data and circumstances recorded in the findings from the file, it was assumed that the dog in question died at the scene of the injuries, from which distance the shot was fired and the shotgun centre was positioned.
