Abstract

Kao što navedeno u tekstu, hromosti predstavljaju treći najveći zdravstveni problem goveda
na mlijeĉnim farmama diljem svijeta.Vaţno je skrenuti stoĉarima pozornost na adekvatnu
provedbu zoohigijenskih mjera i kvalitetan naĉin drţanja ţivotinja da bi se smanjila pojavnost
patologije papaka, a samim time i smanjila pojavnost hromosti. Treba naglasati provedbu
protokola za ocjenjivanje stupnja hromosti, koji ukoliko provodimo prema pravilima, hromost
moţemo detektirat u samim poĉecima patološkog procesa, te isto tako pravodobno reagirati.
Kako je opisano u tekstu postoje razliĉiti bodovni sustavi za detekciju hromosti, svaki od njih
nam moţe biti od velike pomoći u ranom otkrivanju hromosti i bolesti papaka, pa u konaĉnici
i u samoj uspješnosti lijeĉenja. Preporuka je na redovitoj njezi korekciji papaka i ako je
moguće upotreba dezinfekcijskih kupki. Ukoliko stoĉarima problem hromosti uspijemo
prikazati kroz izgubljenu dobit, a znantsvenim tezama to i potvrdimo,te stalnom edukacijom
stoĉara pa i veterinara podiţemo razinu svijesti o vaţnosti prevencije i lijeĉenja hromosti
goveda.

Abstract (english)

As noted in the text, lameness are the third largest health problem of dairy cattle around the
world. It is important to turn farmer's attention to the proper implementation of zoohygienic measures and the quality of keeping animals in order to reduce the occurrence of cloven hoof pathology and thus reduce the appearance of lameness. It should be emphasized the proper implementation of the protocol for the evaluation of locomotion scoring, which is implemented according to the rules, pathological process on the hoofs can be detected at the early stage, and also timely reaction. It is a recommendation on regular claw trimming and on the hoof baths. If we can show the problem of lameness to the dairyman through the economic losses, and with the scientific researches we confirm this, and with the constant education od dairyman and the veterinarians we raise the level of awareness about the importance of preventing and treating of lameness.
