Abstract

Fascioloidoza je parazitarna bolest uzrokovana velikim američkim metiljem
(Fascioloides magna), koji se prvi put opisuje u svijetu u 19. stoljeću, a u Hrvatskoj 2000. Do
sada, eradikacija je bila neuspješna pa se veliki američki metilj može naći u Austriji, Češkoj,
Slovačkoj, Mađarskoj, Hrvatskoj i Srbiji. Najuspješnija metoda za smanjenje broja invadiranih
jelena u jelenskoj populaciji jest antihelmintska peroralna terapija, koja se provodi dodatkom u
jelensku prihranu svake lovne sezone.
Uzorci jetre korišteni u ovom istraživanju prikupljani su kroz redoviti odstrel jelenske
divljači u ograđenom reviru Čakanj, Šumarije Tikveš te su patoanatomski i parazitološki
pregledani. Nakon kvalitativne i kvantitativne analize te usporedbe rezultata između tri sezone,
ustanovljen je status jelenske populacije kao i terapijska učinkovitost.
Prije redovitog odstrela i prikupljanja uzoraka jelenska divljač je bila na peroralnoj
terapiji antihelminticima. U lovnoj sezoni 2015/2016, prikupljeno je 13 jetara, u lovnoj sezoni
2016/2017 prikupljeno je 17 jetara, a u lovnoj sezoni 2017/2018 prikupljeno je 11 jetara.
Za svaku sezonu su podaci prikazani tablično i grafikonom. Rezultati pokazuju da
terapijsko suzbijanje fascioloidoze u jelenske divljači u ograđenom lovištu daje vrlo dobre
rezultate u samo tri sezone unatoč tome što nije korištena nijedna druga neterapijska metoda.
Terapija pokazuje značajno smanjenje parazitarnog opterećenja staništa, smanjenje parazitskih
žarišta te nemogućnost stvaranja novih. Pozitivan učinak terapijskog suzbijanja fascioloidoze
je i suzbijanje superinvazija i teških invazija već u prvoj sezoni. Dinamika konverzije iz
pozitivnih u izliječene jedinke najviše je izražena u srednjedobnih jelena

Abstract (english)

Fascioloidosis is a parasitic disease caused by the big American liver fluke
(Fascioloides magna), whose first sighting in the world was in the 19. century and in Croatia
in 2000. Until now, eradication was unsuccessful so the big American liver fluke can still be
found in Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia and Serbia. The most successful
method for decreasing the number of invaded deer in the deer population is antihelmintic
peroral therapy, which is performed by additional deer feed every hunting season.
Liver samples used in this research were collected through regular hunting of deer game
in the enclosed hunting area Čakanj, Tikveš Forestry and then pathoanatomically and
parasitologically examined. After qualitative and quantitative examinations and the result
comparison between three hunting seasons, invasion status of deer population was estimated as
well as therapy effectiveness.
Before regular hunting and collecting samples the deer game was on peroral
antihelmintic treatment. In hunting season 2015/2016, 13 liver samples were collected, in
hunting season 2016/2017, 17 liver samples were collected and in hunting season 2017/2018,
11 liver samples were collected.
For every season the data was shown via tables and charts. The results show that
fascioloidosis treatment in deer game in the enclosed hunting areas have a very good outcome
in just three seasons despite there not being any other nontherapeutical treatments. Treatment
outcomes are a considerable reduction in parasitical load of habitat, decline of parasitical hot
spots and impossibility of creating new ones. The positive effect of fascioloidosis treatment is
the suppression of superinvasions and heavy invasions in the first season already. Conversion
of dinamic from positive to cured units is most expressed in middleaged deer.
