Abstract

U diplomskom radu prikazan je slučaj rabdovirusne infekcije staklastih jegulja prouzročene europskim virusom jegulje X. Općom pretragom, razudbom te histološkom pretragom utvrđeno je da virus uzrokuje značajne patološke promjene u staklastih jegulja. Ova rabdovirusna infekcija je bolest koja u određenim okolnostima može uzrokovati značajne gubitke u uzgoju i ugroziti opstanak prirodne populacije jegulja.

Abstract (english)

This paper demonstrates the case of rhabdovirus infection in glass eel caused by Eel virus European X. General examination, dissection and histological examination established that the virus causes significant pathological changes in glass eels. This rhabdovirus infection is a disease that can, in certain circumstances, lead to significant losses in production and endanger the survival of natural population of eels.
