Abstract

Kunići se sve češće drže kao kućni ljubimci pa u zadnje vrijeme bilježimo i porast dolazaka ove vrste pacijenata u veterinarske ambulante i klinike. Upravo zbog toga problem nedostataka literature koja bi objedinjavala podatke o anatomskim i fiziološkim posebnostima ove vrste životinja, kao i njihovim najčešćim odnosno najvažnijim zaraznim i nezaraznim bolestima postaje sve očitiji. Cilj ovog rada bio je olakšati postavljanje diferencijalnih dijagnoza i prikazati nove spoznaje iz područja bakterijskih, virusnih i gljivičnih zaraznih bolesti kunića. Kako bismo učinili ovaj rad preglednijim, ali i s obzirom na opsežnu temu i nemogućnost opisa baš svih zaraznih bolesti kunića, u prvom dijelu dali smo pregled najčešćih bolesti (zaraznih i nezaraznih) podijeljenih po organskim sustavima na kojima uočavamo promjene. Naknadno smo, u daljnjim poglavljima detaljnije opisali najčešće (pastereloza, sifilis kunića) ili najvažnije zarazne bolesti kunića koje se očituju visokim morbiditetom i mortalitetom (miksomatoza, hemoragijska bolest kunića) ili se pak radi o zoonozama (dermatofitoza, tularemija). Na taj smo način pokušali, bar djelomično, pridonijeti objedinjavanju i dostupnosti podataka o zaraznim bolestima kunića.

Abstract (english)

Lately rabbits are more frequently kept as pets and we have recently seen an increase in the arrival of this type of patients in veterinary clinics. Precisely because of this problem we noticed that there is a lack of literature that would combine data on the anatomical and physiological characteristics of this species of animals, as well as their most common and most important infectious and non-infectious diseases. The aim of this study was to facilitate diagnosis and present new insights in the field of bacterial, viral and fungal infectious diseases of rabbits. In order to make this paper, but also given the extensive topic and the impossibility of describing all infectious diseases of rabbits, in the first part we presented an overview of the most common diseases (infectious and non-infectious) divided by organic systems in which they appear. In the following section we described the most common (pasteurellosis, rabbit syphilis) or the most important infectious diseases of rabbits manifested by high morbidity and mortality (myxomatosis, haemorrhagic disease of rabbits) or zoonoses (dermatophytosis, tularemia). With this paper, we have tried to contribute to the access and availability of data on infectious rabbit diseases
