Abstract

U diplomskom radu istraţena su morfološka obiljeţja i morfometrijske vrijednosti kokcidija izdvojenih iz riba porodice Triglidae, ulovljenih u Novigradskom moru i Velebitskom kanalu. Iz crijevnog sadrţaja lastavice prasice (Trigla lyra) i lastavice balavice (Trigla lucerna) izdvojena je kokcidija Eimeria sp. I, a iz crijevnog sadrţaja lastavice glavulje (Trigloporus lastoviza) kokcidija Eimeria sp. II. Nalaz kokcidije Eimeria sp. II u lastavice glavulje je ujedno i prvi nalaz nametnika roda Eimeria u ove vrste riba.

Abstract (english)

This paper presents morphological characteristics and morphometric values of coccidia, isolated from the fish of the Triglidae family. The fish was caught in the Novigrad Sea and the Velebit Channel. Eimeria sp. I was isolated from the intestinal contents of the piper gurnard (Trigla lyra) and tub gurnard (Trigla lucerna). Eimeria sp. II was isolated from the intestinal contents of the streaked gurnard (Trigloporus lastoviza). The detection of the Eimeria sp. II is also the first report of coccidian parasite of the genus Eimeria in this fish species.
