Abstract

Inovacije su bitan aspekt društva te su potrebne za njegov razvitak. Kako bi opstali kao
konkurenti na tržištu, svakome su potrebne inovacije, neovisno o tome koji proizvod pojedinac
ili grupa nudi. Europska unija na temelju raznih programa i dokumenata pokušava povezati
države članice i potiče ih na inovativnost, a isto tako i potiče i na inovativnost unutar samih
država članica. Bitan aspekt u inovacijama su sama sveučilišta, pa tako i sveučilišta u Republici
Hrvatskoj koja sve više pokušavaju povezati svoje istraživače i samo gospodarstvo. U skladu s
time, pokrenut je i projekt „Inovativni funkcionalni proizvodi od janjećeg mesa” u kojemu se
gledao utjecaj hranidbe janjadi i kvalitete janjećeg mesa kao i njihovih proizvoda. U hranidbu
janjadi pasmine lička pramenka uvedena je plemenita pečurka. Tijekom istraživanja potvrđene
su čak tri inovacije, a to su inovativnost uzgoja i hranidbe janjadi, inovativni proizvod (janjetina
s manjim udjelom kolesterola i masti) te inovativni proizvodi od janjetine. Isto tako, dodatkom
plemenite pečurke u hranu janjadi pasmine ličke pramenke, izbjegnuto je korištenje antibiotskih
priprava jer je plemenita pečurka pokazala probiotička i prebiotička svojstva što svakako služi
gospodarstvima jer u novije vrijeme ljudi sve više paze na prehranu i obraćaju pažnju na
upotrebu antibiotika. Zbog navedenih inovativnosti, projekt je prepoznat te je dobio brojne
nagrade na međunarodnim sajmovima gdje su prezentirani ti inovativni proizvodi od janjetine.

Abstract (english)

Innovations are an important aspect of society and are necessary for its development. In
order to remain competitive in the market, everyone needs innovations, regardless of the
product offered by an individual or a group. The European Union, based on various programs
and documents, is trying to connect member states and encourage innovation, both at the
national and intra-national levels. Universities play a significant role in innovation, including
universities in the Republic of Croatia, which are increasingly trying to connect their
researchers with the business sector. In line with this, the project "Innovative Functional
Products from Lamb Meat" was initiated, which examined the impact of lamb feeding and the
quality of lamb meat and its products. Mushrooms were introduced into the feeding of the lička
pramenka breed lambs. During the research, three innovations were confirmed: innovation in
lamb breeding and feeding, an innovative product (lamb meat with lower cholesterol and fat
content), and innovative lamb products. Additionally, by adding mushrooms to the feed of lička
pramenka lambs, the use of antibiotics was avoided because the mushroom showed probiotic
and prebiotic properties, which is certainly beneficial to the economy, as people are increasingly
concerned about their diet and the use of antibiotics. Due to these innovations, the project was
recognized and received numerous awards at international fairs where these innovative lamb
products were presented.
